How We Began

On April 24, 2004, "Erin and Larry Parente" (or Larin- a term mistakenly created by our DJ) came into being through Holy Matrimony. We were surrounded by our witnesses as we entered the Sacrament of Marriage at St. Dominic's Church in San Francisco. These friends and family also helped us celebrate splendidly afterwards at Delancey Street with Italian food, dancing and family entertainment.

Happily Ever After Engagement

Larry and Erin were engaged on August 29th, 2003. Larry got on one knee in front of Cinderella's castle at Disneyland and asked, "Erin Kathleen Ricketts, will you marry me?" Erin said "Yes!" Larry unfortunately suffered a day-long indentation on his knee from the center of the brass star on the ground. This was followed by dinner at the Blue Bayou in their favorite ride, Pirates of the Caribbean.
