Larry had a long business trip to Florida the end of January. My sister-in-law Monica drove down with me and we got there in time to celebrate Monica, my mom and aunt Cathie's birthdays at Buca de Beppo. The girls had fun at Nana and Papas for a week. Nana drove up North with us the next Sunday. Thank God for the video system in our Sienna...life saver!
The girls are doing very well and passed their last Preemie visit with flying colors. It's really great that Kaiser has all preemie infants in for semi-yearly checks to make sure babies that are born too early are on-track. We are so happy that ours meet and exceed in all developmental areas. Yay!!!! They are also now 27.7 and 26.9 lbs/oz, Mary being the slightly heavier and taller one. They are in the 93-96th percentile!!!!
I love being at home with them!! They are back to two naps a day which makes it hard to get out. The rain is welcome as it keeps me from doing too many things outside the home. The girls are walking everywhere now...it's so adorable watching them walk all over the living room. They like to play together, but also do very well on their own. I often catch then silently reading books or playing with a toy. Of course, that doesn't mean they never get upset...Mary has started wanting everything and lets me know by whining, but we can easily distract her. Maggie has started these little yells when she wants something, not too different from when she was 2 weeks old and didn't want me to burp her!! Even with their little willful natures springing up, they are still just so adorable and we love them to pieces!!! this house is full of hugs and kisses and we love that they are so affectionate!!! Today I snuggles with both of them on the couch and we watched their signing video and learned new signs together. I was in heaven!!!!
