We are having a nice time in North Carolina with Gaga and Pappy. We left SF Saturday morning and had a direct flight (finally!) to Raleigh. The next morning the girls and I finally met Larry's step sister Suzie and her daughter Katie. Yes, the girls' only first cousins are Kate and Katie!
She was brave enough to join the girls in the 76 degree pool in the light rain.
Katie is exactly 10 years older than the girls.
We are heading to Calabash today which is just North of Myrtle Beach, CA. It's pretty darn cloudy, but may be about 80.
Nothing like a little KFC on the way there.
Pretty funny and creepy!!!
Listening to a little country on the beautiful drive!
Gator watching!
Larry said, "you ready for the circle of life girls? Turtle swimming next to gator.
We had a nice beach day today after the boys played golf and the gals lounged around in PJs, painted and played dancing bears on the porch. Hanging out on the screened in porch feels a bit like being in a wildlife preserve. There is an alligator, many turtles, thousands of crickets, cicadas, etc.
I've never seen such amazing cloud formations!
Hiding under an umbrella on the 4th hole if mini golf course. Intense thunder showers!!!
Met a gal who recommended her parents new Peruvian restaurant. Yum!!!!!!
Milking the fiberglass cows...
...more cowbell? Nice face Maggie!
No vacation would be complete without a visit to the outlet mall and a little ride right?
We had a nice time celebrating Pappy's birthday a little early near Myrtle Beach, SC.
Yay! We are home! Girls were troopers (especially since we woke them at 5am eastern time to go to airport) and always get compliments from fellow passengers. Such an easier age for traveling!!! Thanks to Gaga and Pappy for all their hospitality!!!!
